Customizing the interior spaces of Trussardi boutiques in Europe, updating the concept store in a pop style
Trussardi presents a temporary store completely dedicated to accessories in the heart of Rome’s shopping district, Galleria Alberto Sordi, one of the capital’s best-known and busiest places. Gaia Trussardi, the Group’s Creative Director, revisited the concept of the existing boutique, transforming the space – 135 sq. m. on two levels – into a functional area with a pop style, designed specifically to house the accessories, footwear and luggage collections of the Trussardi and Trussardi Jeans men’s and women’s brands.
The interior design features bright white lacquered niches with plexiglass cubes of various sizes to display bags while footwear is placed on the lower level in lighted shelf displays. The boutique’s decorations, from the storefront to the interior walls and display cubes, are enriched with multicolored graphics that play with stylized images of greyhounds in motion for a camouflage effect with a decidedly “pop” flavor. For the graphic design Gaia Trussardi involved Guido DutyGorn in the project.
